A few years ago I went to the DIA for the second time (though it was
more the first because i actually got to look around). I was in aw of
all the amazing art that surrounded me, actually seeing the paintings i
had only looked at photographs of. Though I have yet to make it through
the entire museum, i have found one of my favorite paintings (Talking
Oak) one that haven't seen since my second visit but have searched for.
That painting was done by
William Maw Egley who inspires
me to see the beauty in an ordinary setting.
